Chamfers

Chamfers complete the look of a home. Creative Timbers chamfers are available in cypress, treated pine and a variety of hardwoods.  Our standard profiles are available as below, and we also have the necessary machinery and personnel to match existing profiles.

To match existing chamfer profiles all we require is a sample of the chamfer / weatherboard to ensure we match to your exact requirements.

  1. CYPRESS CHAMFER

      

    Cypress chamfers are the most popular natural timber chamfers used today. Being manufactured from a termite resistant timber makes this the ideal option for external application of chamfer boards. Below is a list of standard cover chamfer boards we have available, but if you require a size that is not listed below, please complete the details in the made to match option for cypress and one of our friendly staff will be in contact with you.

  2. TREATED PINE CHAMFER

      

    Treated pine chamfers may be chosen for a new home or used to make the extension / renovation seamless. This material is treated to protect from decay and insect attack and has excellent insulation properties. Treated pine chamfers are available with a standard or pre-primed finish and sold in 5.4m lengths. Learn More
  3. MIXED HARDWOOD CHAMFER

      

    Chamfers made from a mixture of hardwoods such as merbau, yellow balau and other species are sometimes used.  These provide a sturdy decay resistant cladding for new homes, renovations and extensions.  They are available in two sizes only.

  4. CHAMFER - MADE TO MATCH OR CUSTOM

      

    Our made to match chamfer is the option we have available for an existing commercial building or residential property.

    Ensure your renovation or extension is seamless with our made to match chamfers.  To ensure we provide you with the correct pricing for your requirements, please follow the below instructions to measure your existing chamfer board.

    1.  Measure the cover of the chamfer board (the length (in mm) of the board from top of board to the rebate at the bottom of board)

    2.  Measure the total height of 10 boards on the existing building. 

    3. Enter in the two measurements in the design comments box below calling the first measurement 'cover' and second measurement '10 boards measurement'.

    If you have your own design for a chamfer board, we can also machine to your own unique design, all we will require is a drawing and measurements - please complete the contact us page and one of our friendly staff will be in contact with you.
