Creative Timbers manufactures a range of handrails and bump rails for internal and external use including dowel handrails, monorails, ladies waist, breadloaf and any other design you wish to create. We currently supply handrails and bump rails to aged care facilities, retail stores, nursing homes, hotels, hospitals, schools, retirement centres, offices and more. These products are available in a range of timber species including but not limited to Tasmanian oak, blackbutt, spotted gum, merbau / kwila and jarrah.

    HR140 is a handrail designed specifically to incorporate a bump rail and handrail into a single piece of timber 140 x 45, reducing labour costs in the construction whilst also protecting the wall from wheeled devices and beds.     Midrails are generally used to provide a gap between the balustrade and the handrail.This is most common in Colonial, Contemporary, Heritage, Victorian and Queenslander style of homes.     Bottom Rails are generally used as a base rail for external and internal handrails on colonial, contemporary, heritage, victorian, queenslander and modern homes. The Bottom Rail holds up the dowel or balustrade to support the mid-rail or top rail normally a ladies waist or breadloaf profile.     Balustrade is the material that connects a handrail to a midrail and the midrail to the bottom rail of a barrier normally around a verandah, deck or internal staircase and steps. Creative Timbers have a range of balustrades in Finger Jointed H3 treated preprimed pine, Solid Kwila and Finger Jointed Merbau.     FB38D measures 38mm in diametre and has a flat base making it useable as a handrail attached to the wall or as part of a staircase balustrade.
